SUICIDE ZERO X GRANDPA

This year's most important Black Friday-offer

For some people all days are dark. Workdays and weekends. Black Friday or not.

Today we know that suicide is increasingly connected to the web according to research and reports from Suicide Zero. So why not use the blackest day of the web for something important?

Together with Suicide Zero, we are therefore releasing what we call a vital offer.

Suicide Zero x Grandpa

Last year we lost 1168 people in Sweden due to suicide. 839 men, 323 women, and 6 were children under the age of 16. Behind each statistic hides a friend. Somebody’s son, someone’s sister. All revenue from the sales of these tote bags go directly to Suicide Zero, who through preventive measures works to lower these figures.

With the limited Black Friday offer of 1168 tote bags, we raise the number of people who died last year in suicide in Sweden. Which was 839 men, 323 women and 6 children.

“Even though almost half of the Swedish population knows someone who has committed suicide, the subject is still taboo. What’s needed is a more open discussion about suicide, it is not a conversation reserved for closed rooms. It needs to be brought up to the surface. If the high suicide rates are to decrease in Sweden, we need to work together in all parts of society.”

/Stina Rönnlund, Suicide Zero

”Black Friday has always been a big deal for Retail, and the last few years we’ve taken a stand against it. For this year we want to use this attention to focus on an important issue that is a major societal problem. It’s not about the best deal, it’s about human life. We want to show that together with our customers we can actually make a difference.”
