The kettle is made for use with alternative heat sources such as over a campfire or on a gas stoves or Trangia stove.
The cover on the handle can be removed if you make your coffee over an open fire. You may know that the kettle can get sooty, but that will only make the kettle even more beautiful. Use the included leather bag to keep your other belonging non-sooty!
