Grandpa Goods x Sätila

We’ve collaborated with Sätila since 2012 to make our own collections of beanies. We are really proud of this collaboration, which is based on our common values of quality, sustainability and local production. All beanies are knitted in their factory in Sätila, Sweden.

Sätila of Sweden has been manufacturing high-quality textile products in Sätila since 1896, and production still takes place at the same location. The factory houses a knitting room, a washing facility, and a sewing room, allowing the entire production process, from design to finished product, to be done locally.

In recent years, the company has made significant investments, such as the reintroduction of sewing operations and new machinery for increased capacity. In-house production gives Sätila control over the entire production chain, ensuring high quality and sustainability, both environmentally and socially.

All our collaborations are based on mutual core values. We also take a long-term approach to everything we do and all our relationships—be it with our staff, suppliers, or partners. And with Sätila, this aligns perfectly. The fact that we have worked together for twelve years speaks for itself, and we are extremely proud of our hats, which truly deliver on our definition of sustainability: quality, a timeless style, good material choices, and fair production conditions. Simply put, everything is just right!

— Jonas Pelz, co-founder of Grandpa

Being able to develop and produce hats that reflect both our and Grandpa's views on quality and sustainability is something we highly value. Every hat we make for Grandpa carries a part of our long history, and we at Sätila are proud to share it with Grandpa.
