Akande is a long dress with fitted shoulders, cropped sleeves, and a cropped ankle length. This dress is significant for its beautiful raw cut edges (with tape on the inside edge to avoid fraying). Akande is designed with a voluminous skirt part with panels cut on bias. This dress is made in an Italian fabric made in a recycled cotton mix with BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) cotton, instead of traditional grown cotton.
